SYA has been providing services for young people for over 35 years. We work with over 4,000 young people, aged 11-18, through our own and affiliated clubs every week.
This is achieved through a collection of youth groups, clubs and activities.
Our term time weekly clubs offer an array of physical and sports activities such as tag archery, rugby, tennis, dodgeball, Just Dance, Sumo football and termly trips to locations like climbing walls, bowling and ice skating.
To help ease the increasing problem presented by food poverty, weekly food based activities are always offered and young people encouraged to learn how to cook healthy foods.
SYA works with schools and external agencies to give young people extra opportunities such as Health Champions, Young Leaders, UK Youth Parliament, early intervention mental health sessions and specialist groups for young people with SEND needs and those who are part of the LGBTQAI+ Community.
SYA aims for young people to have access to quality, affordable, appropriate provisions and wants young people to feel valued, seen and heard.
